Two Coasts of Nusa Penida: Which to Choose?

Nusa Penida island is quite large, and it's difficult to explore it fully in one day. Usually tourists choose to visit either the western or eastern coast.

Western Coast 

Here are located the most popular attractions, such as:

• Kelingking Beach (that famous dinosaur-shaped beach);
•  Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong;
• Crystal Bay - ideal place for swimming and snorkeling.

The western coast tour takes about 7 hours.

Eastern Coast

Here you will find more secluded, but no less beautiful places:

• Diamond Beach with white sand and incredible views;
• Atuh Beach - a calm place for relaxation;
• Thousand Island Viewpoint and Treehouse.

The eastern part also requires a full day, but the roads here are more difficult, so it's better to go with an experienced driver.
