More about places
Tegalalang Rice Terraces are among Bali’s most famous terraces, located 9 km north of Ubud at an altitude of approximately 800 meters. They consist of terraced rice fields built according to the ancient subak irrigation system, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The terraces impress visitors with their greenery and beauty, creating unique undulating landscapes and offering the opportunity to walk between the fields and take photographs against a backdrop of coconut palms.
Kanto Lampo Waterfall is a cascading waterfall approximately 30 meters high in a tropical forest, reached by a path through rice fields. It has several tiers and a pleasant swimming pool, while the route involves walking through water and over slippery rocks, creating a small adventure for visitors.
Tibumana Waterfall is a picturesque little waterfall hidden in a tropical forest. Surrounded by dense vegetation and crystal-clear water, it creates an atmosphere of seclusion and tranquility.
Tegenungan Waterfall is a popular and easily accessible waterfall in Bali, located near Ubud. It is known for its powerful stream and the opportunity to swim in the natural pool at its base.
Tukad Cepung Waterfall stands out because the water falls through a narrow crevice in the rock, creating the effect of an indoor waterfall in a cave. The site captivates visitors with its atmosphere and play of light, creating unique photo opportunities.
