Tegalalang Rice Terraces are one of central Bali’s most popular attractions, located 9 km north of Ubud at an altitude of approximately 800 meters. These are picturesque terraced rice fields built according to the ancient “subak” irrigation system, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The terraces impress visitors with their long waves of greenery and beautiful panoramic views, and offer numerous paths for walks and photo sessions.
Kintamani Valley is located in the northeastern part of Bali around the active Mount Batur volcano. The area is renowned for its scenic views of the volcano, Lake Batur, and the surrounding mountain landscapes. The valley features cafés and restaurants with terraces offering magnificent panoramas, as well as hot springs for relaxation.
Pura Besakih Temple, known as Bali’s “Mother Temple,” is the largest and most revered temple complex on the island. It is located on the slopes of Mount Agung and consists of more than 80 separate temples. Pura Besakih plays a key role in the spiritual life of the Balinese people and impresses visitors with its scale and architecture.
